Really?
From the list of phrases I don't hear very often:

"Oh, hello! I didn't recognise you with all that green on!"

True story. Lady in the post office down below said it to me, today. It had me wondering what she *has* seen me in. Probably layers of black and the Scienceworks uniform (black, white and yellow), I'm guessing.

Perhaps it is the little else she is use to seeing?

It's funny how people get used to seeing you in certain clothes or colours and are genuinely suprised when they see you wearing something else.

I read somewhere that people favourite colours are based on what they subconsciously know looks good on them.

Probably largely true. Not the case for my James - his favourite colour is one that makes him happy, but he never wears it because it looks awful on him (and on most people). In fact, he places it so little in his life that I hadn't realised it was his favourite colour until recently.

Great. Which reminds me, I should drop by CERES too. Funny how there's all these places I never visited while I was living in Melbourne!
